Miralomas embraces natural topography preserving 200 acres of green space for future generations
A new community is now open in Boerne, Texas. Set amongst nearly 1,000 acres of sweeping Hill Country views along Highway 46 W, Miralomas feels miles away from civilization, yet is only minutes from historic downtown Boerne.
The design of Miralomas embraces the area’s natural topography with home sites providing maximum views while retaining meaningful privacy. The community places great emphasis on the natural terrain and environmental characteristics of the land, building on existing resources and the adoption of environmentally sustainable infrastructure solutions. Over 200 acres of land is preserved for green space and future generations to enjoy.
“The vision of Miralomas is to create an iconic community intended to preserve the essence of the Texas Hill Country, foster wildlife habitation, and create natural connection points that engage residents through meaningful community adventures,” said Nicholas Prouty, CEO and Founder of Putnam Bridge, the project developer.
The first phase of Miralomas brings 184 lots online, with 50% off them pre-sold prior to the community’s opening, as well as a clubhouse, resort-style pool, interactive play and recreational areas, and miles of dynamic walking nature trails that wind through five different eco-systems. The Clubhouse serves as Miralomas’ main gathering area. It includes a state-of-the-art fitness center and multipurpose room for gatherings and meetings. Right outside the doors of The Clubhouse, an oasis awaits complete with a crystal-clear resort style pool. Neighbors will also be encouraged to connect on the experiential playground, at the outdoor movie theater or at the large event lawn perfect for outdoor concerts and celebrations.
Five builders are currently selling homes in Miralomas. Casadomaine Custom Homes, Garner Homes, Mike Hollaway Custom Homes, Prestige Homes and Sitterle Homes are offering homes ranging in size from 3,100 square-feet to 5,000 square-feet on lots ranging from 55 to 80 front feet. Home prices start from the high $300s and go up to over $1 million. Each of the luxurious homes is inspired by the Hill Country views and Miralomas’ pristine setting. Visitors to theses show-stopping homes will discover unique floor plans, the latest in interior and exterior design trends, and sustainable low maintenance landscaping.
Great care was taken in the development of Miralomas to maximize environmental sustainably. Existing heritage trees, soil and rock forms were preserved during development phase. An innovative water conservation system was also developed that uses reclaimed water to provide irrigation to the community’s native trees and plants. Inventive solutions were created to control storm water as it moves through the site’s varied topography. Additionally, Miralomas has invested nearly $10 million dollars to ensure its residents dedicated and uninterrupted access to high quality and abundant water.
“We made our decision to make a significant capital investment in our off-site transmission pipeline to ensure access to water at Miralomas for generations to come,” said Prouty. “I believe water will come to be the defining characteristic of which Texas housing projects retain, lower or increase their value. Our decision to invest deeply in water infrastructure solidly puts Miralomas in the latter category.”
Miralomas residents have access to a multitude of lifelong learning opportunities just minutes away. The community is established within the award-winning Boerne ISD, which maintains a 99% graduation rate and a 15:1 student-teacher ratio. Miralomas is zoned to Fabra Elementary School, Boerne Middle School North and Boerne High School.
